Marina of Las Palmas Gran Canaria (Muelle Deportivo de Las Palmas )

Located in the heart of cosmopolitan and dynamic city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and inside, but completely independently, one of the most important trading ports of the Atlantic, is presented as an ideal place to prepare for the transatlantic crossing, as the Regatta ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers), which each year from this port with 200 participants from different countries.

It has a 24-hour surveillance and all berths have electricity and water. In the marina you can find public toilets and showers, mail, public telephone, bar, restaurant, weather and gas station, which supplies fuel and lubricants to the different boats.

City Center: Vegueta

The district has a meaning Vegueta dear to the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria as it is the place where it originated. Today, this village is the best preserved historic center of the Canary Islands and in it, past and present come together.

The neighborhood of Vegueta was declared a Historic Artistic by Decree of April 5, 1973.

The district owes its name to the Vega that stretched around the Royal Palms Three, called "Santa Ana Vegueta." Since then would be the center of political, religious and administrative island.

City Center: Triana

Triana is one of the historic districts of the Spanish city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the capital of the Canary Island of Gran Canaria. Belongs to the district center.

Crossing the ravine Guiniguada with direction to Puerto de la Luz stands the Triana district, named for the similarities in their origins, was the namesake neighborhood Sevilla.1 The neighborhood was structured around Calle Mayor de Triana , route of great architectural beauty and long trading tradition. Near it rise buildings such as the Teatro Perez Galdos, Literary Cabinet, or the Church of San Francisco.

The Triana district was recognized as a historic center in 1993 and is pending record recognition of the historic city center (Vegueta and Triana) as World Heritage.

Playa de Las Canteras:

This beach within the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is wonderful. It has white sand, clean waters, spas to shower and change and continue to visit the city or the island. The promenade that skirts can walk comfortably and choose from the wide choice of restaurants.

Playa de Las Alcaravaneras (Next to Marina):

The beach is another Alcaravaneras urban beaches with which the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Gran Canaria, Spain). Visited throughout the year, is the second beach frequented by locals, after the Playa de Las Canteras, you can enjoy it at any time of year thanks to the mild climate.

The whole beach is covered by the promenade, which starts in Las Alcaravaneras, communicates with the San Cristóbal beach and ends at the Playa de la Laja, ten miles south. This walk is one of the recreation areas of the city and is frequented by people who take the opportunity to walk, run, play sports or ride a bike. The tranquility of the bay and proximity to existing yacht clubs make the beach a great place to practice sports such as sailing and canoeing. In addition, the beach there are facilities for the practice of other sports like beach volleyball, beach soccer or futvoley (organizing tournaments in summer) and court sports such as basketball, soccer and volleyball.
